Hotel Giardino La Playa - Adults Only - Alghero

This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices for its prime location almost by the beach. The rooms are spacious, some with a balcony, and the staff provide excellent service. The breakfast provided is also a highlight, with a good selection of delicious food.

No improvements necessary, everything was satisfactory.

Nice gardens and just a short distance from downtown, about 1.2 miles away ❤ Easy to recommend because we enjoyed our time here.

I loved the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The breakfasts were excellent and lunch and dinner were of a high standard.

1. Very thin walls, so you can easily hear any sound from both inside and outside of the hotel. 2. The hotel is ok but the price you pay is higher than the value you get.

Our romantic getaway was amazing! The hotel was a gem in the heart of a bustling area, offering easy access to the beach and local restaurants. We enjoyed the hotel's clean and well-maintained pool area, perfect for lounging and relaxing. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely decor, making it the perfect place to unwind and feel at home.

The area could be a bit noisy at times, but it didn't bother us too much. Additionally, we found our room to be a bit dark, but we spent most of our time exploring the city and enjoying the beach. we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel to other couples looking for a romantic escape.

No refrigerator, the bathroom smelled bad, but it got better the next day. Thin walls and hard beds, for me anyway, but i have muscle problems. Besides that everything was good.

What a hidden gem! This hotel is perfectly located away from the bustle of the restaurants on the front and is mere steps from the beach. the rooms are exceptionally clean and the bathrooms are spacious. the breakfast is continental with a variety of options available. the pool area is inviting and peaceful. the staff is very accommodating with great attention to detail, and the food here is fantastic. the mini book library by the pool is a great touch.

The hotel could use more facilities for families with teens.

The hotel's location just a short walk away from the beach, combined with the great facilities such as the inviting poolside restaurant and the clean surroundings make this a perfect vacation spot. The friendly staff enriched the experience even more.

Myself and my sister spent a week in hotel Playa. Great location about 50 yards from lovely beach, Hotel had nice pool area with jacuzzi and sunbeds and beautiful gardens and flowers creating a very relaxing ambience. Rooms are standard but very clean. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday this is the hotel for you. About 20 mins walk from old town which is beautiful or you can get a bus for €1.50 outside hotel. Food in hotel is first class but be prepared for Irish prices...not cheap. Alghero is a lovely place and we would definitely go back.
